An interactive mural created during a month-long residency at New Art Center in Newton with the help of students and visitors. Over 150 kids of all ages took part, drawing lines or shapes that Ben would respond to. The result was an insanely detailed and entertaining map of Newton according to their collective imaginations. Some kids (and adults) would try and make their additions as seamless as possible, while others attempted to throw a wrench into the works with wild shapes and swirls! The end result was surprisingly harmonious.
On the last day of the exhibition, students and parents were invited to color in the mural.
